SCITT The SCITT programme offers Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a Professional Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) which is validated by University Campus Suffolk (an accredited College of the University of East Anglia) and the University of Essex. Linda Nunn (Secondary SCITT Leader) Approximately 85% of the Academic Year is spent in Placement Schools; the other time consists of core training and subject specific Lead School days. Trainees complete two placements. Placement A: September – December; Placement B: February – June
